Sarah & Jon’s Long Distance Love Story

Sarah and Jon, happily married after dating long distance for nearly 7 years and 6,600 miles apart! They both said 'I do' after years of dating, face timing, messaging, travelling across land and sea to see each other, they finally made the commitment of not having to be apart again.

Their civil ceremony on the 16th September 2022 was intimate with just immediate family there to witness it.

The 18th September 2022 was the big day. From days and months before the wedding with very little sleep, Sarah and Jon put all of their time into the wedding planning with DIY projects, from the decorations to booking hotels for all the guests.

The Bride was staying up until 4am and waking up early the next morning to create their own invitations, signs, programs, and seating charts. Despite many stressful times while planning their day, all that hard work paid off and it was the best day of their lives!

Jon is somewhat of a celebrity. A Filipino American, born and raised in Los Angeles, he is an actor and former 'That's My Bae' member (a Filipino dance group). He shared “Many of our guests came from abroad, gave wedding gifts, took time off of work, and made sacrifices just to attend our wedding. To say we are grateful is an understatement of how blessed my “WIFE” (still getting used to that word) and I truly feel to have them all attend that special day in our lives. It sounds a cliché, but love was in the air. "

The Bride chose a beautiful colour palette with an abundance of blush florals by Flowers by Eve, copper tableware and a show-stopping four tier cake by Bella and Bean.

The catering was provided by a Filipino caterer MM Catering Services with a sumptuous buffet in the Cloisters. The Elysian Styling Company provided all the styling for the day, which focused on the couples love of travel bringing in the boating element where Jon proposed. Guests were entertained by a 360 photobooth in the gardens supplied by Picsher Photobooth.

The evenings highlights were a choreographed dance set performed by the groom and his groomsmen, and an incredible music video staring the couple courtesy of @joshua.manlises
